Just finished teaching a good session in the United Kingdom with my students there (written in 2007). Aside from my lack of stamina the course went well. I am very positive about creating a solid group of therapists in the UK who will be very good primary care practitioners of Ayurveda there.

Especially important are the group of Shamana therapies and how they relate to the movement of time according to dosha cycles. How beautifully these cycles fit with dosha function and the disease process! People always forget (me too) the power of daily lifestyle and the force it has to change health problems. People are always looking for a magic pill - there is a magic pill in Ayurveda - it is the daily thinking, daily action and Being that creates health every moment. This is the real magic of health and it is free! Of course it requires effort to enjoy life!??? And what is this arrogance that identifies itself as the doer of anything?

All the lifestyle and dietary information is found in this textbook:
