Newsletter December 2014

Namaskar!
Many of you have asked me or Dr Joshi about the possibility of doing an apprenticeship at Dr. Joshi’s clinic. At this moment there is an unique possibility to do this in Nagpur, India.

One of Dr. Joshi’s team - Raju is taking care of his sick father and cannot massage or make preparations this winter session from 27 December 2014 to 5 March 2015. Anyone who would like to work in the clinic for part or all of this period can contact me at my email on this newsletter.

For those of you who have been at the clinic you know that Pravin is the head of the therapists in the clinic and Raju is his right hand. Together thay make all the herbal preparations for the Pancha Karma patients and they massage as well as perform all Purva Karma therapies.

We would prefer to have one of the people who has studied with Dr. Joshi in Nagpur and already knows these techniques, but anyone can apply.

This is a real two month (or one month if you are two) apprenticeship at Dr. Joshi’s clinic. Like many things in India - this is a spontaneous happening - if it is your karma to be free and go it will be an intense learning process!

Pathology & Diagnosis in Ayurveda

The beginning of 2014 was spent rewriting all of my teaching material on pathology - this book is now available here!

For those of you who have studied with me it may be interesting to have your lessons (corrected) and in a book form. This edition has color photos for tongue diagnosis!

The third volumes will be published in January 2015!

Anatomy and Physiology in Ayurveda

You may also be aware that I spent 2013 rewriting all of my teaching material and have published the first lessons in this book -
Ayurvedic Medicine for Westerners: Anatomy and Physiology in Ayurveda

I have done a major re-write on many parts of these lessons. For those of you who have studied with me it may be interesting to have your lessons (corrected) and in a book form.

The last edition on Dravyaguna was re-released at the end of 2013 with color photos of the herbs - hence the price is a bit high due to the color printing and better paper quality. This book can be seen here.

I wish you a great holiday season and a Merry Christmas!
