450 mg. capsules, 100 per bottle

  • Removes excess vata, pitta and kapha from the head and chest
  • Promotes healthy, clear respiration
  • Promotes natural expectoration and healthy lungs
  • Reinforces the immune system

Ayurvedic description:

  • Rasa (taste): sweet, pungent
  • Virya (action): heating
  • Vipaka (post-digestive effect): sweet
  • Doshas (constitutions): Balancing for all doshas, may increase pitta.

Commentary:
Sitopaladi is a traditional Ayurvedic formula for reinforcing the immune system and promoting health and well-being. It promotes healthy expectoration and supports proper function of the lungs and sinuses. Sitopaladi removes excess vata, pitta and kapha from the head and chest helping to promote clear, healthy respiration. ’Sitopala’ literally means ’rock candy’ an ingredient that soothes pitta and calms vata. ’Adi’ means ’etcetera’ and refers to the heating herbs and spices that help to enkindle the digestive fire and burn kapha.

Common Usage:
Common colds, excess mucus in the head

Possible Contraindications:
High pitta conditions

Suggested Use:
1-2 capsules, once or twice daily, or as directed by your health practitioner.

Notes:
Sitopaladi is also available in powder form

Each 450 mg capsule contains:
Cane Sugar, Banslochan (Bambusa arundinacea), Pippali (Piper longum), Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum), Cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia), Corn Starch.
